About This Grant
A two-stage competition to recruit and support ambitious businesses developing innovative solutions to decarbonise concrete. Successful applicants join a Growth Cohort to access funding, expert guidance, and sector-specific support to scale their innovations.
What Can It Fund?
- Development of innovation and growth plans
- commercialisation plan development
- financing strategy
- revenue model analysis
- sales and marketing strategies
- market research
- testing and certification
- regulatory support
- operational costs of pilots
- intellectual property development
- and life cycle assessments.
Eligible Costs
- -Procurement of third-party services to fill capability gaps
- -operational costs for trials/demonstrations
- -ESG strategy development
- -risk analysis
- -and impact management.
Ineligible Costs
- -Projects using fresh fly ash or GGBS as principal materials (unless reducing their use)
- -alternative fuels for cement production
- -aggregate replacements
- -carbon capture without sequestration in concrete
- -making steel in reinforced concrete last longer
- -or replacing concrete with other materials.
