About This Grant
Follow-on funding to support the early to mid-stage commercialisation of research in Advanced Connectivity Technologies. Projects must build on engineering and physical sciences outputs to deliver economic, societal, policy, and environmental benefits. Funded topics must specifically align with the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology’s (DSIT) themes: Sustainable Networks and Secure and Resilient Networks.

This funding will equip the next generation of PhD researchers with advanced evidence synthesis methodologies, enabling them to critically appraise and communicate environmental information to inform policy and practice. The award covers cohort-level training and individual research projects spanning environmental and social sciences.
